The ex-RAN destroyer Brisbane was sunk in 2005 as an artificial reef off Mooloolaba.
She is now a haven for marine life and somewhere to safely dive, just a 12 minute boat trip away. Dive boats run daily from Mooloolaba, depending on weather conditions. Water temperatures vary from 26degC in summer and 18degC in winter. The ship sits in 27m of water and the top is 8m down.
